The Subscription Concert Series for 1944-1945 included the following performers: Emanuel List "Viennese-American basso of the Metropolitan Opera;" Vladimir Horowitz "distinguished Russian piano virtuoso will make his second appearance at the college;" Aubrey Pankey "the Negro baritone;" Bronislaw Huberman "renowned violinist"; Lotte Lehmann "First Lady of Song, basso cantante of the Metropolitan Opera"; Yehudi Menuhin "American violinist;" and Dr. Thomas Mann "will discuss the future of Europe with emphasis on Germany."
